Throwback Thursday
The collage is from the ISO II Meet back in 2010. That was a great event...hard to believe it was several years ago (photos by Ryan Holbrook and I). The other image is my old 350z with the Varrstoen setup that I had before my Work Meisters arrived (photo by Kyle McManus).

2013.....We're back.
It is ironic to look back at the title of the last post here on Static Stance; "Lack of Updates". A lot has changed for me personally, since that last post back in December of 2011. Static Stance went on a fairly lengthy hiatus, mainly due to me parting out and selling the white 350z that you see at the top of this website, in order to raise support for a six month Haiti mission trip/internship that I completed from mid-January to mid-July of 2012. Not only did Static Stance halt all progress and posts...but I was out of the "scene" as well. Parting ways with that 350z was one of the toughest decisions that I've had to make...as many of my fellow auto enthusiasts can relate to, after spending extensive amounts of blood, sweat, money, and tears into a project.
2012 was definitely a life-changing year for me, personally. Living in Haiti for six months changed my perspective on a ton of things---and life in general. I hope that 2012 was a great year for each and every one of you that are reading this post at this very moment. Cars have been a passion of mine since I was in elementary school, as I helped my brother work on his Honda Civic after school and washing it every Friday evening before he went cruising around Raleigh.
After being "out" of the scene since early 2012....Static Stance (and I) are back. I've missed going out to meets and events and simply hanging out with people in the automotive industry/scene/whatever you want to call it, working on cars and planning new projects. I hope to potentially start organizing meets, printing new t-shirts and stickers, shooting (and featuring) your cars, and so on.
I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to visit our site and for support Static Stance. I hope that 2013 will be a life-changing year for all of you. Be sure to check out the "wheels" section of our site if you're interested in purchasing a new set of wheels; we have teamed up with RavSpec Online to bring you the absolute best prices you can find on Work, Volk/Rays, Advan, Yokohoma, Super Star Leon Hardiritt, and Weds/Weds Sport wheels.
Thanks for visiting.

STANCE is Not Just For Cars!
That's right ladies and gentleman...Cars are not the only thing that look better with a good stance....
SO DOES SNOWBOARDING!
A little off "topic", yes....But I KNOW I am not the only one eager to shred Winter 2011-2012!!

"One-Off" IS350
The title of this post, "One-Off", greatly explains Jeremy Brittain's immaculate 2006 Lexus IS350. Some of you might know Jeremy or recognize his car...He is a co-founder of Insane Stance & Offset (www.isomeets.com). And if you haven't seen this car before...you surely will not forget it, once you have seen it.
Jeremy is an extremely friendly and intelligent guy. There are numerous "one-off" parts on this IS350..Meaning that Mr. Brittain put in the grunt-work to custom fabricate parts just so that they could work. And that dedication is what sets Jeremy's IS350 ahead of the pack. Oh, and I can personally vouch that this car is daily driven....and driven hard. Don't let the immaculate paint fool you....Did we mention this this IS350 is supercharged? Thanks to a rare HKS supercharger that Jeremy was able to source..Needless to say, he didn't wait to pull the trigger on that purchase.
