Throwback Thursday

2013.....We're back.

It is ironic to look back at the title of the last post here on Static Stance; "Lack of Updates".  A lot has changed for me personally, since that last post back in December of 2011.  Static Stance went on a fairly lengthy hiatus, mainly due to me parting out and selling the white 350z that you see at the top of this website, in order to raise support for a six month Haiti mission trip/internship that I completed from mid-January to mid-July of 2012.  Not only did Static Stance halt all progress and posts...but I was out of the "scene" as well.  Parting ways with that 350z was one of the toughest decisions that I've had to make...as many of my fellow auto enthusiasts can relate to, after spending extensive amounts of blood, sweat, money, and tears into a project.

2012 was definitely a life-changing year for me, personally. Living in Haiti for six months changed my perspective on a ton of things---and life in general. I hope that 2012 was a great year for each and every one of you that are reading this post at this very moment. Cars have been a passion of mine since I was in elementary school, as I helped my brother work on his Honda Civic after school and washing it every Friday evening before he went cruising around Raleigh. 

After being "out" of the scene since early 2012....Static Stance (and I) are back. I've missed going out to meets and events and simply hanging out with people in the automotive industry/scene/whatever you want to call it, working on cars and planning new projects. I hope to potentially start organizing meets, printing new t-shirts and stickers, shooting (and featuring) your cars, and so on.

I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to visit our site and for support Static Stance. I hope that 2013 will be a life-changing year for all of you.
